The Quality Network for Veterans Mental Health Services is holding its Third Annual Forum on Tuesday 11th July 2023 featuring various talks on topics related to ex-Service personnel mental health.
Scheduled talks on the day include Fighting with Pride speaking on the impact of the ban on LGBT+ individuals in the Armed Forces as well as details of the DrinksRation study and management of alcohol use with technology presented by Dr Daniel Leightley from King’s Centre for Military Health Research (KCMHR). Additionally, Dr Naomi Wilson and Dr Dominique Mossman-Smith from Combat Stress will be speaking about an intensive treatment service for post traumatic stress disorder and complex post traumatic stress disorder for UK veterans alongside many more speakers on the day.
Our Research Manager Dr Mary Keeling and Deputy Research Manager Kirsty Dimond will also be speaking on the work and vision of the FiMT Research Centre, the accessible evidence and expertise that we offer, and how the centre can benefit those working to improve the well-being and understanding of ex-Service personnel and their families.
